Oh I don't know, Christmas or no we should tell the truth and this is
naught but truth Una -smile- it is the *worst* imaginable!

Maybe, with the brain-printing/wiping/swapping/screwing-with technology
they have and take for granted in the time of B7, people no longer
equate mind and body. Maybe someone's mind turning up one day in an
entirely different body is no more unusual to them than someone's face
turning up with a new nose is to us. So if in this future old habits die
harder than old bodies do, Blake would naturally rely on context (as you
say above) *more* than physical appearance to identify Travis. Different
face, different voice, same fashion sense...

m asked: "the last time I was on this group there was talk of a
fan video called Blake's Legend which might even feature a cameo from an
old
cast member..could someone fill me in on any new news regarding this?"

Some clips from this were shown at Who's 7 in 1996. Last year at a
London Horizon meeting we were told that all the filming had been done
and it was just the final editing to do and that it would be ready by
Deliverance. That didn't happen and I've heard nothing since.

Given that I won breakfast with David Jackson at Deliverance, I ought to be
able to comment on this... but all I can remember is that I couldn't get
any mushrooms. We certainly had a cooked breakfast, but I didn't look very
hard at what he was eating.

This is just a thought, but...

Do any UK fans have connections with the Star Trek fan base? Or, at
least, is anyone out there willing to admit they know someone who does?
And if so, would anyone be interested in trying to organise a
Blakey/Trekkie football match? It would be a fun complement to the
regular Pages Bar get-togethers (which I consistently manage to miss,
for one reason or another).

I'm going to unsub for Christmas on Monday -- if anyone follows up to
this message, please leave my address in the recipients' field...

Have a smashing Christmas, everyone, and I'll "see" you in the New Year.

-- Rob

PS. Murray and Una, I do intend to follow up to your posts, but please
be patient, as it's going to have to wait until January.

PPS. Pat, I think Marvin would detest Zen -- more later.

Looking at mt collection of Blakes 7 vidos, I see that a most of the
videos say "Contains 2 complete unedited episodes". Can anyone tell me
exactly which episodes in the series have been edited and what exactly
has been removed from them?

Chris.

Have we already mentioned that Clive James is taking "a wry look" at TV
sci-fi on ITV, Monday night at ten, rumoured to involve Jackie Pearce?
