I'm sorry to say that I will not now be able to be there. :-(
I'm away on a cricket tour that weekend in Cheltenham which I go to every
year. But if there is another meet sometime later in the year then I will
definately be there.

I'm a fairly definite aye now (well isn't that better than a maybe?).
I should be able to make it. I hope to bring a friend along who's a
B7 fan (from way back when we were at school together) and I'm trying
to get her to join the list.

I've just persuaded the Ashford hotel to issue two keys for shared rooms. This
isn't their normal policy for security reasons, but they're willing to do it for
Redemption as long as people accept any risk involved in letting someone else
have a key to their room.
As I always room share at cons, my reaction is a loud hurrah! Trying to find my
room mate to get hold of the key was the only thing that I didn't like about
the Ashford which is a perfectly wonderful con hotel in every other respect.

A while ago Steve asked for links between Babylon 5 and Blake's 7 for
Redemption. I watched "Grail" last night, and I've found one! (Ok, it's
remarkably tenuous, but I jumped up yelling "Blake's 7! Blake's 7!" so I
wanted to share.)
Sinclair and Garibaldi were discussing clearing out down below, and
Garibaldi is being very cold and ruthless.
Sinclair: "What do you want to do with them, throw them out of an
airlock?"
Garibaldi: "Don't tempt me!"
Probably isn't a link really, but it made me thing of Orbit, anyway
