Ensor had lot's of security, the force field around the lab, those fling things
etc. As Ensor and his son were the only people on the planet voice checking was
not needed. After all the key provided all the security that was needed. I
think that Orac was meant to look un-finished, the key, the easy access to the
internal workings etc.
